Florence’s first foray into executive search and selection started in 1997 when she joined Michael Page International as part of its pioneer team in Singapore. Over the next 11 years, she rose from consultant to manager to associate director, and was Managing Director of Michael Page Singapore from 2005 to 2008; before leaving to join a boutique search firm in its infancy phase.

With her diverse experience and career track record across various functional disciplines and industry sectors; Florence is a firm advocate of adopting a pro-active and solutions based approach to executive recruitment, succession planning and career management.

Inspired to create and build a customised Asia-centric talent management services practice, together with Elaine Keh, she founded Straits Talent Private Limited.

Elaine Keh
Straits Talent Private Limited

Elaine is an engaging, energetic and enthusiastic individual who has made a conscious effort to take the road less travelled in her career.

Elaine graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, and started her career as a Business Analyst with Agilent Technologies. While she had the opportunity to join Arthur Andersen, one of the most prestigious accounting firm then, she decided to take on a commercially focused role which allowed her to be closer to the business, a critical experience necessary as a foundation in the career she foresaw for herself.

In the ensuing 4.5 years with Agilent Technologies, Elaine had the opportunity to take on multiple roles supporting various parts of the business. She led several successful projects, which included quarterly cost reduction programs, product transfers from the US, process reengineering which brought about significant efficiencies in management reporting and forecasting.

Her foray into the recruitment industry was in 2004 when she joined Michael Page. She tracked well in Michael Page, and was promoted to Manager, leading a team of 3 in her 4th year with the organisation. While Elaine took on 360 degree coverage of the recruitment cycle, ranging from business development to fulfilment, her strong competency in developing strong relationships and business development stood out. In 2007, she was tasked to spearhead a new practice, Human Resources, which she built into a business excess of S$1 million. She later joined a boutique search firm in its infancy stage.

Elaine co-founded Straits Talent Private Limited, and specialises in recruiting senior HR professionals across all industries.
